Howard Payne University has named new faculty members for the 2009-10 academic school year.
Full-time faculty include: Dr. Lynn Little – Dean, School of Science and Mathematics, Professor of Biology; Dr. Mandy Locker – Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice; Mrs. Jennifer McNiece – Assistant Professor of Political Science; Dr. Lois Patton – Professor of Business Administration; and Dr. Mark Patton – Professor of Business Administration.
“Howard Payne is very pleased with the new class of professional educators joining the faculty this fall,” said Dr. William Mark Tew, vice president for academic affairs. “Each of the new faculty members are very well qualified and impressively credentialed. With graduate degrees and post-doctoral study from University of Texas Southwest Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, University of Texas, University of North Texas, University of Texas School of Public Health, University of Texas School of Law, Texas Tech University, Wayne State University, Nova Southeastern University, University of Texas El Paso, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, University of Kentucky, Manhattan School of Music, and Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia, the new faculty helped raise our collective number of represented graduate schools to a total of 103. When added together, the faculty members of Howard Payne University have 970 years of faithful service to Howard Payne University and to the Brownwood community.”
New adjunct faculty include: Dr. Tomi Grover – Criminal Justice; Mr. Frank Hawkins – Modern Languages (Labs); Dr. Gerald Maxwell – Mathematics; Mrs. Julie Mize – Art; and Dr. Peter Neubert – Music (Strings).
