Howard Payne University is making plans for the 2012 Homecoming themed “The Great Adventure” on the weekend of October 12-14 and is putting out a call for volunteers to help with the event.
Marsh said that a variety of volunteer opportunities are available during homecoming this year. These include:
- greeting at various sports events that weekend
- decorating tables for the picnic on Saturday
- working in the Dr. Pepper Trailer
- registering participants for the weekend
- serving food/drinks at the picnic on Saturday
“There are many opportunities to get involved with Howard Payne University’s homecoming weekend,” said Marsh. “The jobs are not at all difficult and some only require an hour or so of time.”
