Brownwood News – A crowd of 1,755 watched the Howard Payne Yellow Jackets defeat the Sul Ross State Lobos 31-20 for a happy Homecoming victory Saturday evening at Gordon Wood Stadium in Brownwood.
The game was tied 10-10 at the half but the Yellow Jackets scored three TD’s in the third quarter to gain control of the game. The difference came through the air as the Jackets racked up 358 yards in the air attack.
