Howard_Payne_logosmallDr. Bill Ellis, Howard Payne University president, recently announced the appointment of a new vice president and the promotions of several other administrative officers.

Dr. Ellis announced the hiring of Paul Dunne as vice president for development. Dunne has a diverse background in fundraising, having most recently served as vice president for development and communications at Ability Beyond Disability in Bethel, Connecticut. He was reared in Corpus Christi and attended HPU in the 1970s. He will join the HPU staff in mid-July.

Promotions include Dr. William Mark Tew, vice president for academic affairs, to provost and chief academic officer; Brenda Pena, vice president for finance, to senior vice president for finance and administration; Dr. Brad Johnson, vice president for enrollment and student services, to senior vice president for institutional advancement; Dr. Brent Marsh, assistant vice president for student life and dean of students, to vice president for student life and dean of students; and Stan Pena, director of facilities and planning, to assistant vice president for facilities and planning.
