Early Chamber of Commerce honored Howard Payne University’s President Dr. Bill Ellis recently with the month’s high achievement award – January’s Business of the Month.

Early Chamber’s President Brent Moseley stated that Early Chamber “appreciates all that HPU does for the community,” and its “great economic impact for all of Brown County.”

Dr. Ellis explained that HPU has received nationwide acclaims especially with their Moot Court students and model United Nations Court. He discussed the remodel of the Mabee Center as well as other new building projects on the horizon.

Dr. Ellis stated that Howard Payne University is now offering new Masters Programs and will be starting a BSN in Nursing in the fall of 2015.  HPU athletics also recently added golf to their slate of sports.
