During the holidays, most of us take it for granted that we will spend time with our love ones, overeating, resting and just having a great time…it’s almost magical sometimes. We get carried away with buying gifts and some even forget the real reason of Christmas.
This year, Brownwood News would like to celebrate and thank the military and their families for the service they give our country. These men and women sacrifice precious time away from their families and sometimes give their own lives for our benefit. Their families often have to move away from the support of loved ones. The conditions they live in during their service is often less than comfortable.
We must not forget what they have given us…Freedom, which is one of the greatest gifts.
If you know a special military man/woman or their family that deserves recognition, please send us a picture or information about them, what makes them special so that we may write an accurate and worthy story.
