Funeral Services for Hillman Thomas, age 85, of May, Texas will be held 2:00 P.M. Thurday, May 17, 2012 at the Heartland Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Thomas passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012 at his home.
Hillman Wayne was born in Holder, Texas on October 30, 1926 to James William and Martha Mae McDonald Thomas. On May 18, 1946 he married Dorothy Wilma Thomas in Brownwood and she preceded him in death on March 15, 2010. Mr. Thomas retired from the May ISD as a custodian after thirty years of service. He was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church, a lifetime resident of the area where he farmed on the family home place his entire life.

Theola (Doll) Woodward of Early, Texas
15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife, siblings Henry Hendrix, Annie Mae Wilkerson, Dee Wright Thomas and wife Dorothy, William Carl Thomas and wife Thelma, Normie Hudson (Tom) Thomas and wife Corine, Brother-in-law C.H. (Woody) Woodward and by a great grandson Brent Scott Thomas.
