Brownwood High School student Alex Hetzel participated in the San Antonio Stock Show on February 13th winning top awards.
The show was a double judged show. She placed 1st in her class and earned Grand Champion Gelding under both judges.
This win added 4 points to her American Quarter Horse Youth Association (AQHYA) standings, which will qualify her to compete at the AQHYA World Show in Oklahoma City in August.Pictured above is Hetzel with her Grand Champion Gelding. Photo contributed.
