Funeral services for Hermilo Arredondo, 75 years of age, of Brownwood, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 2, at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel, with Aniceto Villarreal officiating. Interment will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Arredondo passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, after a brief illness.
He was born in Jimenez, Coahuila, Mexico, on April 2, 1939, to Bonifacio and Angela Arredondo. He was married to Maria Rosa Adame on September 21, 1971, in Jimenez. He was a member of Nueva Jerusalem church in Brownwood.
Survivors include his wife, M. Rosa Arredondo; sons, Jose Luis Arredondo and wife Jennifer, and Bonifacio Arredondo; daughters, Maricela Cantu, Elida Gonzales, and Diamantina Arredondo; seven grandchildren, Kristina Castro and husband Ramon, Stephanie Garza and husband Christopher, Christopher Cantu, Daniel Gonzales, Christian Arredondo, Jordan Arredondo, and Jerrod Arredondo; and four great-grandchildren.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and he will be greatly missed.
