MolinaHeribertaHeriberta Navarrette Molina passed away October 28, 2012 at the age of 83.  She was born March 16, 1929 to Jose G.  Navarrette and Octavia Lozano Navarrette in Austin, Texas. Heriberta, affectionately known as “Betty”, lived many years in Brownwood but always called Georgetown home. Betty was a devoted mother and grandmother who showered unconditional love upon her immediate and extended families. This rich love, rooted in the heritage her parents and siblings provided, will always be cherished. As a fervent gardener, Betty’s inner beauty was manifested in the many beautiful roses and plants she cultivated around her home. Heriberta lived her life guided by clarity of principle and unrivaled work ethic apparent to all.

Heriberta leaves behind so many friends and loved ones to cherish her memory. She is survived by her 4 sons, Humberto O. Molina, Jr.  and wife Elizabeth of Alexandria, Virginia, Osvaldo Molina and wife Misti of Brownwood, Texas, Mario Molina and wife Marilynn of Seabrook, Texas and Noe Molina of Lake Brownwood, Texas; her grandchildren, Crystal Molina, Jody Molina, Leslie Myers, Augustus Myers, Jeremy Molina and Ashley Molina; and 2 great grandchildren Sheradyn and Tierney Molina. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sally Molina Myers. Other loved ones are Betty’s best friends Mary Mota, Narcisa Lopez and cousin Margie Riojas.

Family will receive visitors at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 30th, at which time the traditional Catholic Rosary will be prayed. Funeral services will take place Wednesday, October 31st at 10 a.m. at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Georgetown, Texas and internment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas.
