Brownwood News – The town of San Saba lost its only grocery store in a Friday morning fire.
The Early Chamber of Commerce and community partners, would like to support our neighbors. With the recent Lowe’s Grocery Store burning, the City of San Saba is left with limited resources. This comes amid the COVID-19 preparedness and mitigation that is covering Texas.
“We will be hosting a food and supply drive Monday morning. I know that it is easy to think of only ourselves at this time, but image it being you in this situation. If you can spare 3 cans of food or a bottle of oil please consider giving to this drive.”
All donations should be dropped off to the parking lot of the Small Business Complex between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm this Monday morning, March 23rd. There will be a designated area. All donations should be in original packaging. All donations will be sanitized before transportation.
