The American Southwest Conference today announced it volleyball players of the week and Howard Payne’s Tamika Heline was honored as the West Division Offensive Player of the Week.
Howard Payne junior outside hitter Tamika Heline (Spring Branch, TX / Smithson Valley HS) helped her squad to a 3-1 start to the season at the Virginia Wesleyan College Tournament by hitting .259 with 41 kills, 10 service aces and four assists. Heline also tallied 43 digs and four blocks to garner all-tournament honors.
