MinerHelenMaeHelen Mae (Ma) Miner, 91, passed away February 14, 2016 in Brownwood. Visitation for Mrs. Miner will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016, 6 pm to 8 pm at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Graveside services for Mrs. Miner will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016, 11:00 AM at Salem Cemetery in Bangs.

Helen Mae was born on July 19, 1924 in Speed, Kansas to Margaret Lousinda and Charley Beck. She has lived in Brownwood for 15 years with her daughter Charlene and son-in-law Don. She has always loved to dance and had fun going to cook-offs. Helen Mae Miner lived in Pueblo, Colorado for 50 years. She worked for Duckwall’s and ALCO. Her favorite job was caring for her family. “Mama’s favorite color is red, she’s our Valentine.”

Helen leaves to cherish her memory; her son Jerry Miner of Olney Springs; daughter Charlene Gunter and husband Don of Bangs, daughter, Karen Nunn and husband Jim of Brownwood; son, Ronnie Miner of Pueblo, Colorado; grandchildren, Mike, Deanna, Jennifer, Wendy, Dusty, Jerod, AJ, Tessa; step-grandchildren, Allen and Lee Ann; 20 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Helen is preceded in death by her mother, father and husband Ralph Miner.
