The Brownwood/Brown County Health Department would like to announce their first quarterly Maternity Fair. The Maternity Fair will be held on February 19, 2015 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the health department which is located at 510 East Lee Street in Brownwood.
There is no charge to attend the Maternity Fair, and it is open to all expectant mothers in Brown County. A meal will be served and each participant may bring one person with them.
Representatives from the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department, WIC (Women, Infants and Children) program, Family Services Center, and Pregnancy Care Center will be present to provide information about services offered and resources that are available in our area.Participants will be provided with information about communicable diseases, immunizations for infants, children and adults, feeding your baby, breastfeeding, nutrition, parenting tips and healthy living.
Each participant will receive a gift bag of free items and drawings will be held for door prizes.
