One woman was sent to the hospital after a head-on collision at the corner of Indian Creek at Stephen F. Austin Monday afternoon.
Two vehicles collided head-on at approximately 2:40 p.m. after one of the vehicles suffered mechanical difficulty, according to its driver. A BMW sedan and a Chevrolet Tahoe were involved in the accident.The driver of the Tahoe, who was 9 months pregnant, was transported for evaluation and treatment of any possible injury. The male driver of the BMW was reported to be uninjured. Both vehicles’ air bags deployed at the time of the accident.
Brownwood Fire Department, Brownwood Police Department and Guardian EMS responded to the scene.
