Friends and family of Yanna Lee Berniard Miller will host a hamburger fundraiser from 11 AM-1 PM on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Guardian EMS, located at 1501 4th Street in Brownwood.
The fundraiser will be a drive-thru event with pre-orders required by 11:00 AM on Friday, February, 22nd. Organizers invite the public to call in orders by calling 325-642-5087 or 325-232-0832, fax to 325-641-1703, or email to prayforyanna@rocketmail.com.
Hamburger meals are available for a suggested minimal donation; however all donations will be accepted.21-year-old Miller is the daughter of Lisa M. Gray and Draco Miller who was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic colon cancer which has spread to her lungs and liver. She was treated as an inpatient at Harris Methodist Hospital in Ft. Worth and does not have health or medical insurance. Yanna is now back at home; however, she will soon undergo chemotherapy and be facing many ongoing medical and travel expenses.
