Haidon Layne Hinds, age 11, of Coleman, died Monday June 3, 2019, in Coleman.  Visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, Coleman.    The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, in Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Seth Moore officiating and assisted by Rev. Jeff Moore.  Burial will follow in the White Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

Haidon Layne Hinds was born August 16, 2007 in Abilene, Texas, a son of Robert Landon Hinds and Hailey Lynn Marks Duquette.  He was also loved and nurtured by his legal custodians Elizabeth and Jim Bob Edington, who he had lived with since March 2018.  Haidon attended school at Panther Creek from Pre-K through 4th grade and attended Coleman Junior High School for his 5th grade year.  He attended Hords Creek Cowboy Church.  Haidon was a sweet spirited boy who was a dancer and a comedian.  He liked Avengers, Venom, Megaladon and Super Heroes.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He loved all animals and creatures, including frogs, lizards and snakes and when talking about them he always spoke with a British accent.  In the past, he had as pets,  a bull python named Monty and a tarantula named Pinky.  He enjoyed all types of music and playing video games.

He is survived by his mother, Hailey Duquette and husband Matt of Brownwood; father, Landon Hinds of San Angelo; one brother, Thad Hinds of Coleman; grandparents, Sherry Marks and Michael Densman of Coleman, Danita and Randy McKee of Coleman, Steve Hinds of Coleman, Marla Craig of Coleman; great-grandparents, Jeff and Anita Moore of Coleman; aunts and uncles, Elizabeth and Jim Bob Edington of Coleman, Heather and Josh Dennis of Pennsylvania, Sheridan and Adam Jones of Coleman, Clint and Lyndi Marks of Abilene, Mandy and Phillip Davidson of Abilene, Deven Densman of Austin, Kandi Cumba and Kaley Craig;  numerous cousins, including Jeffery and Sadie Edington, who were like his siblings; step-sister, Adylynn Duquette of Brownwood; many other extended family members and a host of friends who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his cousin, Bryson Hyer; great grandparents, Pat and Marlene Wood and Carroll and Addie Hinds, and A. D. Craig; a cousin, Lance Hinds.
