Gwen Talley, age 83, of Brownwood joined her Angels and the Lord on February 10, 2013.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Richard Couch officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday(today) at Davis-Morris Funeral Home, 800 Center Ave. Brownwood.
Gwen was born on July 10, 1929, in DeQueen, Arkansas to Woodson and Evelyn Grubb Knott. She married Bob Talley in February, 1948, and together they raised two children, Joe and Janet. She loved to bowl, dance, and was always full of life and laughs. She will be missed by many.
Gwen is survived by her children, Joe Talley of Brownwood and Janet Roberts and husband, Larry, of Brownwood; 5 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Condolences for the family may be left at www.davismorrisfuneralhome.com.
