GurlGuideLogoThe Heart of Texas Children’s Advocacy Center’s Gurl Guide program invites girls in 6th – 12th grades to attend their “So Long Insecurity” study by Beth Moore on Sundays from 3:00-4:30 p.m. beginning October 11th through November 22nd.  Participants are also invited to a special lock-in event on Friday and Saturday, December 4-5 from 7 p.m. – 7 a.m.

The program is held at Coggin Avenue Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, located at 1815 Coggin Avenue.  The study helps teen girls to say goodbye to insecurity and hello to being the person God intended them to be.

The Gurl Guide program provides mentoring from HPU female students to teen girls grades 6th-12th in Brown County.  This mentorship program offers an opportunity for teen girls to be encouraged, supported and inspired while dealing with today’s issues.
