BrownCountyDistrictCourtLogoDistrict Attorney Micheal Murray reports that during the June 2014 session of the Brown County Grand Jury, 70 indictments were returned against 59 people.

The District Attorney’s office does not release names on new indictments until after the Grand Jury proceedings have been processed through the District Clerk’s office.  Also, names are not released of those indicted but not yet arrested due to an indictment being sealed until the time of the arrest.

Released June indictments include:

Marjorie Elaine Schneider: Possession of a controlled substance – drug free zone.

John Simon Armendarez: Possession of a controlled substance – drug free zone and unlawful possession of a firearm by felon – weapon – free school zone.

Jose Antonio Carrizales, Jr.: Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, repeat offender.

Jerry Allen Leonard:  Possession of a controlled substance.

Myranda Fowler Salazar:  Possession of a controlled substance – drug free zone.

Joe Richard Cadena, Jr.: Possession of a controlled substance.

Juan Jose Mendoza: Two counts of Possession of a controlled substance – drug free zone.

Benjamen Smith: Possession of a controlled substance and theft of firearm.

Justin Lynn Weiershausen: Possession of a controlled substance.

John Phillip Couch: Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, repeat/habitual offender and Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver – drug free zone – repeat/habitual offender.

Virginia Greene (aka Virginia Darnell): Possession of a controlled substance.

Krystal Hampton: Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Amanda Mendoza: Possession of a controlled substance.

Daniel Santos Morales, Jr.: Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

James Schlegelmilch: Possession of a controlled substance.

Anna Jeannette Coffey: Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver – drug free zone.

Butch Landon Spearman: Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver – drug free zone.

Martin Nofziger: Possession of a controlled substance (two counts) and possession of marijuana.

Stacey Bishop: Unlawful possession of firearm by felon.
