Grace Behrens, 89 of Voca, Texas, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019 in Brady, Texas.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady.
The funeral service will be at 10:00 am Monday, September 23, at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels with Rev. Ray Ash and Rev. Edmond Wheeless officiating. Interment will be at Voca Cemetery.
Grace was born on April 1, 1930 in the Walnut Springs community of Somervell County, Texas to Joe Bailey Meador and Ethel Elrena (Walker) Meador. She taught 2nd grade in Brady and Brownwood for 20 years before retiring in 1990. She attended Liberty Baptist Church in Voca and had been in this area for 55 years.

Son – Joe Wesley Behrens and wife Jacque of Voca
Daughter – Rhonda Bosquez and husband Robert of Corpus Christi
Brother-in-Law – Ira Lee Ratliff of Houston
Grandchildren – Jenna Pool and husband McClain, Andrew Bosquez and wife Chrissy, Jay Behrens and wife Morgan, Josh Behrens, Johathan Bosquez and wife Victoria.
8 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Ruth Dalby and Betty Ratliff.
