Brownwood News – AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott will hold a bill signing ceremony on Saturday, June 15, at Austin Beerworks. The Governor will sign House Bill 1545 (Paddie, Birdwell) into law, which allows craft breweries to sell beer-to-go in the state of Texas. The bill also extends the operations of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and reduces burdensome regulations on the beer and wine industry, said Abbott in a news release.
