The 4th and Stewart Church of Christ will host their annual Spring Gospel Meeting, entitled Fortifying the Family, on May 20th-23rd. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. 4th & Stewart Church of Christ is located at 3201 4th Street.
Organizers state, “When God made man and woman, He instituted marriage as a life-long relationship that would form the foundation of the family (Genesis 2:24). The family in turn forms the foundation of society. The key to building up our families, churches, and communities must begin by building up the home as God would have it. Doing so requires us to go back to God’s word as the pattern for our homes…not the physical structures we live in, but the relationships that make up the home, our families. Bring your Bibles as we study together how to Fortify The Family as God would have it.”
Guest speaker, Wayne Jones (pictured top left), is the pulpit preacher for the University Church of Christ in San Marcos, TX. He is a 1996 graduate of the Memphis School of Preaching and has a BA from Amridge University where he is also pursuing his Master’s Degree in Ministerial Leadership.
