Gordon James Birrell, age 55, of Early, Texas went home to be with his heavenly Father on April 21, 2015. Cremation is under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Gordon was born on October 30, 1959 in Big Spring, Texas to Bill and Zay Harmon Birrell. Gordon grew up in Big Spring where he graduated from Big Spring High School in 1979. He married Lisa Glenn on September 7, 1996. They moved to Early, Texas where they made their home and raised their daughters. He worked independently as an Inventory Auditor.He is survived by his wife Lisa Birrell; two daughters, Morgan Birrell, and Megan Tidwell, husband Craigan and granddaughter Emma all of Early, Texas. Two brothers Ron Birrell, wife Dorinda of Denver, Colorado and Greg Birrell, wife Clarice of Big Spring, Texas as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
