Good Samaritan Ministries is offering families and organizations an opportunity to volunteer in the coming weeks.
Each first and third Monday, GSM will begin hosting the Family Fun and Service nights, a fun time to volunteer for the whole family or organization.
Volunteer projects will vary depending on the time and season. One group may be packing Christmas boxes, and on another night a different group may be packing homeless or homebound boxes. Other projects will include checking electronics, or sorting clothes and socks. There are so many jobs that need to be done and Good Samaritan needs volunteer help.To schedule your group (of no more than 15) call Misty at 643-2273 or 325-203-2489. Depending on what works best for your group, service nights can be booked for either the first or third Monday from 5:30 to 7:30.
