A Massimo utility vehicle (UTV) will be raffled by Good Samaritan Ministries thanks to a generous donation of the vehicle by Big Country Ford and Hawk Hill Sales. All proceeds will benefit the Deer Project to cover cost of processing.
The Massimo UTV is on display at Prosperity Bank in Brownwood through Friday, August 30. Tickets are also available at the bank through that time. Tickets are $10 each or 12 for $100. The drawing will be held Saturday, Sept. 28 at Big Country Ford. All proceeds will go directly to The Deer Project of Good Samaritan Ministries. Tickets are also available at Good Samaritan Ministries, Big Country Ford, Hawk Hill Sales, Texas Bank, Citizens National Bank, Porter Insurance, Prosperity Bank, Mills County State Bank and Wendlee Broadcasting.
The UTV will then be on display beginning on Saturday at the Brownwood Country Club during the Citizens National Bank Golf Tournament this weekend.The Deer Project is a program that allows hunters to donate legally tagged deer to Good Samaritan Ministries to feed hungry families in Brown County. Local processors will process donated deer for the minimal price of one dollar per pound of venison for the Deer Project.
