ScatteredDonations2

Recently a pile of donations, shown in the picture above, was left at the Good Samaritan Ministry’s Clothing Store entrance while the GSM offices were closed.  As a result, the items had been picked through and scattered.

Good Samaritan Ministries would like everyone to know that all of the donations received are welcomed and appreciated, but they need to be left during regular business hours which are: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesday from 1 to 5 p.m.  There is also a location to drop off donations of clothing on the Anderson Street side of their building during regular business hours.

According to GSM staff, the people who took items from this pile of donations were, in fact, stealing.  GSM would like to remind everyone that anyone is more than welcome to browse through GSM’s items of clothing, shoes, purses and other knick knacks on the shelves of their Clothing Store during regular business hours.

GSM is very thankful for and appreciates all of the donations received; however, if they are not left when staff is present, GSM cannot guarantee this won’t happen again.

Below are more pictures of the donation and how it was found by GSM staff.
