Funeral services for Gloria Braddock, age 76, of Brownwood, will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday in the chapel of Heartland Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home.
Gloria went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at her home.
She was born on August 1, 1936 in Shreveport, Louisiana to James Ellis and Callie Britton. She enjoyed playing bingo and being with her bingo friends. In 1965 she was married to Gerald Braddock. He preceded her in death in 2006.
Gloria is survived by her three daughters, Cindee Hanes of Brownwood, Michele Raben of Post and Laurie McBride of Weatherford; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; a sister Pam McClain of Post and a brother, Melvin Britton of Post. Her love of her life was her little dog “Bella” and her very best friend Judy Stuckey.
