WomenOfDistinctionLogo_2015The Girl Scouts of Central Texas will honor and celebrate five women selected as the 2015 Women of Distinction and one Workplace of Distinction on Thursday, April 30th.  A special luncheon will be held at Coggin Avenue Baptist Church, located at 1815 Coggin Avenue in Brownwood, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The Girl Scouts of America believe that at the core of every girl is a leader. The Girl Scout program provides girls with opportunities that focus on engaging and empowering the leader within. In partnership with adult mentors, girls discover their own potential, connect with others locally and globally, and take action to make the world a better place. The Women of Distinction event recognizes distinguished women leaders who significantly impact their communities.
