Ginger King, age 83, of Brownwood passed away Friday, May 1, 2020, at home surrounded by her family.
Private Family Graveside Services for Ginger will be held Monday at Cedar Point Cemetery with Bro. Johnny McCaghren officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Ginger was born April 8, 1937, in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late John and Clara Barnum. Ginger was a long-time resident of Brown County and a member of Fourth and Stewart Church of Christ.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Billy Rodgers of Brownwood, Junior Funderburk and wife Becky of Rising Star; 2 daughters, Rita Wilson and husband Larry of Rising Star, Diana Malmay and husband Roy of Ajax, La.; 2 brothers, Stormy Barnum and Derl Barnum both of Brownwood; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by other relatives and a host of friends.
Ginger was preceded in death by her husband, Howard King; 1 son, Johnny Rogers; and 2 brothers, Irland Barnum and Gary Barnum.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Fourth and Stewart Church of Christ.
