Every day that the Lord has allowed me to wake up and see another day. 

What is the last book you read? 

The Power of a Praying Parent by Stormie Omartian

48 Hours

Favorite Food? 

Seafood 

What is your ideal vacation? 

Traveling to Hawaii with family. 

IF you could invite anyone in the world to lunch (living), who would it be? 

The 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama 

What’s the most important lesson you learned from your parents? 

Always put God first, love family, always be the best person you can be, and always treat others with respect and dignity. 

What accomplishment are you most proud of? 

Retiring at the age of 52 from the Department of Family and Protective Services. 

What’s on your bucket list? 

Taking a cruise to Alaska, which will be accomplished in May 2019. 

What was the motivation for you to become a BISD school board member? 

I care about my community and I knew I wanted to serve all the children here. One child is no more important than any other. I want to create a long term vision that provides the necessary opportunities for students to reach their full potential.
