Geraldine “Geri” Murray, age 81, of Early passed away July 1, 2016 in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held July 5, 2016 in the Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Payne officiating, interment will follow in the Bangs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M. Monday evening at Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Geri was born February 27, 1935 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Ralph and Mary Payne. She was a loving mother and friend that deeply loved her family and friends. Her favorite pastimes were reading her Bible and watching television.
Geri is survived by her daughter Laura Murray of Early, brother Larry Payne and wife Sonya of Tuscola, sister Ann Hughes of Bangs, and numerous nieces and nephews and numerous friends.She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Murray, her parents, Brother Ray Payne and his wife Jane, brother-in-law Harvey Hughes, and a lifelong friend Shirley Payne.
