Funeral Services for Georgianna Stone, a lifelong resident of Lake Brownwood and Bangs, Texas will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the Heartland Funeral home with David Barnum officiating.  Interment will follow with her grandsons serving as pallbearers in Eastlawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.  Mrs Stone passed away Sunday in a Bangs nursing home at the age of eighty.

Georgianna was born on July 24, 1937 in Brown County to George and Annice Gressett Hallford.  After graduating from Bangs High School, she attended Central Texas Commercial College and Cosmetology School.  On February 9, 1957 she married Austin Jefferson (A.J.) Stone in Bangs, Texas and he preceded her in death on May 11, 2007. Georgianna owned her own business where she was a cosmetologist and bookkeeper.  After retirement she enjoyed quilting, visiting old cemeteries, Native American and Civil War History and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children and spouses Mike and Melanie Stone of Bangs, Darlene and Tommy Faught of Early and Debbie Daniel of Austin; grandchildren Lisa Ferguson, Michael Bohuslav, Blane Daniel, Christina Baker, Jennifer Guerrero, Misty Cone, Jeremy Faught, Jayton Faught, Taylor Faught, Logan Stone, Caleb Stone, Josh Beckwith and  Jacob Beckwith, great grandchildren Kaylin Bohuslav, Dagan Baker, Breanna Baker Shaleigh Baker, Emily Baker, Colton Cone, Kaylee Cone, Carmen Faught, Navi Stone and Easton Stone; brother Robert Hallford and wife Gina of Abilene;  sister Edna Sowell and husband Waymon of Sweetwater and by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Marieo Guerrero, brother Edward Hallford; sister Modiene Allen and  brothers-in-law Buddy Allen and William Stone.
