Georgia Treviño, a loving devoted mother, sister, grandmother (granny), aunt and friend died peacefully February 20, 2014 in Dallas, TX. Georgia was born May 25, 1925, in Lometa, TX and a lifetime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by husband, Ynosencio R. Treviño; parents Alejo and Leandra Salazar, sister Isabel Salazar; brother Felix Salazar.
Survived by: her children, Mary and Alex Guzman of Irving, TX, Ray and Jan Treviño of Brownwood, TX, Linda and Bill Greenlee of Keller, TX, Pete Treviño and Dwight Hake of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Mario and Leandra Guzman of Irving, TX, Danny and Teri Treviño of Austin, TX, Alisha Mello of Ft. Worth, TX, William and Kim Treviño of Dallas, TX, Jaime Landers of Arlington, TX, Shannon Landers of Stephenville, TX; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Fiona Treviño, Noah Collins, and Larryssa Pierson; sister, Sara Salazar and brother, Tony Salazar of Euless, TX.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 21, 2014, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, with a rosary service beginning at 7:00pm, at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 2:00pm, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Brownwood. Burial will follow in Greenleaf Cemetery.
