Gayle Wynn, age 82, of Brownwood passed away Monday, August 29, 2016, at her residence. Visitation will be held prior to graveside services from 10-11 a.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2016, at Cedar Point Cemetery with Chaplin Dave Fair officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
Gayle was born April 10, 1934, to Irene Cornett in Coleman County. She married Tommie Wynn on April 10, 1961, in Brownwood. Gayle retired from GTE in 1990, after a number of years with them. She attended Word of Faith and Abundant Life Church.
Gayle is survived by her husband of 55 years, Tommie Wynn of Brownwood; 4 sons, Mike McLane and wife Cathy of Lake Brownwood, Ricky McLane and wife Victoria of Brownwood, Douglas Wynn and wife Melissa of Decatur, and Joey Wynn and wife Christi of Early; grandchildren, Jason McLane, Christopher McLane, Devin McLane, Lindsey Wynn, Lucas Wynn, Keegan Wynn, Meagan Wynn, Hannah Wynn, Ella Wynn, John Schwab, Jacob Schwab, and Jeremy Kelsey; great-grandchildren, Maddison and Aiden McLane, Annelise Wynn, Josephine Wynn, Eloise Wynn, John M. Schwab, Joshua Schwab, and Jason Schwab; mother-in-law, Wynnelle Hewitt of Brownwood; and niece, Donna Painter. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lisa McLane; grandson, Brandon McLane; and sister, Peggy Oller.
