Gary Edward Loomis passed away at his home on Sunday, June 2, 2019. Gary was born February 4, 1965 in Ketchikan, Alaska to Analee (Myers) Loomis and Lawrence “Larry” Loomis. After high school graduation Gary joined the US Army Reserves and trained as a medic. He then moved to Brownwood to help his dad care for his ailing mother, where he met and married Teresa Brandstetter in 2006 making Brownwood their home. There he continued to find ways to help those in need and promote good food growing techniques both in his community and abroad.
