What a week our area has had trying to get out of our driveways to school, work, and even to the grocery store!  All week we have been reminded to drive carefully or just stay home if at all possible.  Here is what some our readers have done with their spare time on Friday with the snow that fell on our layer of ice.

Some 6th & 7th Graders from Brownwood had fun playing in the park.  Snowball fight anyone??? (Pictured above).

Bobby from Lake Brownwood shared his pictures from the lake bridge.  Note the water is frozen so the snow did not dissolve.

Ava that lives in Brownwood made a snow angel while Caroline from Early made a snow girl.

Garry Eoff and Benson Henry got in some sledding fun, and then Benson drove his tractor.

Joshua (8yrs) & Caitlyn (5yrs) made snow angels and wrote the date down so we’d remember.

On a more serious note, the Depot and Depot Plaza was beautiful with its snow cover.

For some cabin fever was beginning to set in while others have found the week a little restful staying home and enjoying.  Thanks for sharing your pictures and here’s to hoping next week we’ll get a little sunshine!
