BCSO_LogoBrown County Sheriff’s Office reported a truck theft near Hwy 183 Thursday which may be connected to fugitive Charles Henry Hull.

25-year-old Hull was being questioned by BCSO deputies and his belongings searched when deputies believed something suspicious was going on around 10:30 in the parking lot of a deer processing business in Owens.  As officers began to go through an eye glasses case, Hull took off running leaving his shoes behind and eluded the deputies.

Thursday, a silver dually pick-up was stolen on Hwy 183.  The suspect cut fencing and took off cross country, according to Captain Tony Aaron of BSCO, until reaching a paved road.  From there deputies believe the suspect located a residence where an outbuilding was broken into.  Shoes were taken from the outbuilding, which led authorities to believe this suspect could be Hull.

The pickup has been entered as stolen and law enforcement continues their search for the truck as well as Charles Henry Hull of Coleman.

A warrant has been issued on Hull for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance.  The other escapee, Dana Hogrell, from a related incident in Santa Anna is still being sought after as well.  Hogrell had a warrant for his arrest of Burglary of a Habitation at the time of his arrest and has had additional warrants of Manufacture/Deliver of a Controlled Substance and Escape issued as of Friday.

As of Friday night, both escapees were still at large.  Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Charles Henry Hull or Dana Hogrell should contact Brown County Sheriff’s Office at 325-646-5510.
