coldA frost advisory is in effect from 1am to 9am Friday for Brown County.

Clear skies, light winds, and very low dewpoints tonight will allow for ideal radiational cooling conditions across west Central Texas. Temperatures are expected to drop into the low to mid 30s across much of the northwest Hill Country and heartland tonight, with a few lower readings in low lying areas and river valleys.

Frost development will be possible across these areas, which may harm sensitive vegetation. The coldest readings are expected to be between 5 and 8 am Friday morning.

A frost advisory means that frost is possible. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
