The fountain at the Pat Coursey park in downtown Brownwood was covered in a sheet of ice after freezing temperatures over the weekend. Weather forecasts for the area show highs today in the mid 30s. Temperatures will drop again tonight into the mid 20s or lower. On Tuesday, temperatures are expected to rise into the mid 50s during the day and will drop to mid 30s at night. Wednesday’s forecast shows a high of 66 and a low in the mid 30s.
