Brownwood emergency responders were called to the scene of a one-vehicle accident in the 3500 block of 4th Street Friday afternoon.
The accident occurred at approximately 12:20 p.m. when a Chevy Tahoe collided with a utility pole, breaking it off at the ground. The driver of the vehicle was not reported to be injured; however, the Tahoe suffered front end damage.The collision damaged utility lines and a mailbox at the residence where the accident occurred.
Brownwood Police Department, Brownwood Fire Department and Allegiance ambulance service responded to the accident scene.
