Funeral services for Freddie Lee Kite, age 47, of Brownwood, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Netherton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home & Cremations. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 1, at the funeral home. Mr. Kite passed away Monday morning at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
Freddie was born November 26, 1963 in Spur, Texas to William and Helen (Mouser) Kite. He lived in Brownwood for most of his life.
Survivors include his brothers and sisters, Janice and Nolan Smith of Milano, Diane Kite of Kansas, Sara Mae and Jerry Lutz of Florida, Mozelle Sims of Rockdale, Nona Alevedo of Childress, Serena and Jerry Allen of Brownwood, Joe William Kite of Michigan, Walter and Donnie Kite of Leander and Cecil Kite of Brownwood; brother-in-law, Bill Johns, and a number of nieces, nephews and other family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Martha Lois Johns and Brenda Kite and brother, Ricky Kite.
