WomackFredaFuneral services for Freda Mae Womack, 70, of Brownwood, will be held at 3 PM on Thursday, August 30, in the Netherton Funeral home Chapel. Interment will follow in Cedar Creek Cemetery under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home and Cremations. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday, August 29, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Womack passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2012, in an assisted care facility.

Freda Mae Graves was born on June 14, 1942, in Brownwood Texas to Myrom Clifton Graves and Goldie Greenleaf Graves. She was raised and attended school in Brownwood and on October 19, 1957, she married James W. Womack. Mrs. Womack had worked in the nursing field and loved to paint pictures in her spare time. She loved her family dearly and took pride in being a devoted mother and wife. Freda had been a lifetime resident of Brownwood and was a member of the 4th & Stewart Street Church of Christ. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, James W. Womack of Brownwood; children, Jaimmie and Kevin Watley of Belton, Jonathon Womack of Brownwood, Joey and Missi Womack of Bangs and J.W. Womack of Brownwood. She is also survived by an abundance of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ada Lee Bumgardner of Lake Brownwood, Oleta Crawford of Brownwood and Peggy Dudley of Brownwood as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrom and Goldie Graves; one son, James “Feller” Womack; three sisters and two brothers.
