Frank “Pumpkin” Banks 59 of Brownwood passed away on March 10, 2018 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held March 17, 2018 at 11:00am at the Brownwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday from 6-8pm at the Funeral Home.
Frank Banks was born on April 16, 1958 in Brownwood Texas to parents Richard Banks Sr. and Louise Banks. Mr. Banks attended Brownwood schools during his education career. Upon finishing school he spent his days in construction as general laborer and a handy man, willing to help anyone at any given time. In his spare time Mr. Banks was quite the comedian, he loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. Frank better knew as Pumpkin, enjoyed being around his friends and family who he loved dearly.
Frank was preceded in death by both parents, daughter Christie Duffie, Brothers: Jodie Banks and Ronnie Banks, and Sister Rose Banks, and great grandchild Antwone Duffie.
Left to cherish his memoires are daughter, Keisha Duffie of Temple, Brothers Richard Banks, Ira Banks and Sister Mary Banks all of Brownwood. Also left to cherish Mr. Banks are 6 grandchildren Anthony Duffie, Sabien Hill, Alejah Hill, Alexis Hill, Sabias Hill, Pashay Anderson, 2 great-grandchildren Janiya , and Aubri and number of nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and many friends.
