Frances J. Childress, 97, of Brownwood passed from this life on Sunday, February 9th, 2014. Born in Eureka , CA, she was the daughter of John Williams and Flossie Roberson. Before moving to Brownwood in 2012, she had been a resident of London, Texas for 36 years.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Calbert Childress.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her daughters, Marlynn Moredock of Pensecola, Florida, Troyce Wetz of Durham, CA; son , John H. David of Odessa, Texas, eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren and two great-great-great grandchildren, and niece Tonnie Robbins of San Angelo, Texas
