Graveside services for Frances Allene Walters Means will be Saturday March 12, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Bangs Cemetery Bangs, Texas with the Reverend Wayne Lewis officiating, visitation will be Friday from 6-8 PM. She was born September 6, 1919 in Bangs, Texas to S. L. “Jake” and Scott Sikes Walters.
Mrs. Means was reared in Brown County and graduated from the Bangs High School in 1937. She married W.W. “Buck” Means May 31, 1937. She is survived by her children Jerrie Frances Means and husband Joe of Llano, Texas, William Leonard “Bill” and wife Cynthia Means of Brookesmith, Texas., and Mary Gail Means and husband Wayne Edgar of Early, Texas. She is also survived by seven Grandchildren and six Great-grandchildren, and one brother, Kenneth and wife Jan Walters of Lamesa, Texas.She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister.
