Florine Guinn Longshore, age 99, of Brownwood formerly of Big Spring went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 24, 2018.
Graveside Services for Florine will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Florine was born on February 11, 1919, to George and Nora (Pearson) Hall in Centralia, Illinois. She attended First Christian Church in Brownwood and Big Spring. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whom will be dearly missed.
Florine is survived by 2 sons, Paul Guinn and wife Judy of Brownwood, A.L. “Poley” Guinn and wife Carolyn of Homer, LA; 4 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several other relatives and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her 2 husbands, Frank Guinn and Roy Longshore; son, Melvin Guinn; and grandson, Frank Edwin Guinn.
