Heavy rainfall remains possible across Brown County as a very moist atmosphere will remain in place across west central Texas for the next 24 hours. With embedded mid level disturbances and a leftover frontal boundary, additional shower and thunderstorm development is expected tonight and Tuesday.
Locally heavy rainfall remains a good possibility where the showers and storms occur and the showers and thunderstorms will be slow moving. Given the combination of these factors, flash flooding will be possible.
Much of west central Texas south of interstate 20 received significant rainfall during the past 24 hours. Additional rainfall could produce flash flooding in any places where showers and thunderstorms persist. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible with isolated pockets of 3 to 4 inches through Tuesday morning.
