Several felony cases were heard recently in Brown/Mills County District Court with Judge Stephen Ellis presiding according to District Attorney Micheal Murray.

Heather Marie Sansom, pled guilty to the felony offense of Manufacture of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to seven years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Joyce Hill, pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to three years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Robert Durst, III, pled guilty to the felony offense of Assault-Occlusion and was sentenced to two years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Catherine M. White, on probation for the felony offense of Forgery was revoked and sentenced to fifteen months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Jimmy Williams Jolly, on probation for the two separate felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance was adjudicated and sentenced to twelve months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division in each case.
