The Brownwood Area Community Garden and Keep Brownwood Beautiful are hosting Brownwood’s first every environmental fair on Saturday, October 11th at Riverside Park.
The fair will include some short courses on home composting at 10:30 AM, well adapted landscape plants at 11:15 AM, honeybee/pollinator protection at noon and water at 1 PM.
The fair will also feature several vendors including AgMart, Corinne T. Smith Animal Center, the Brown County Farmers Market, Flagship Inn, Brownwood Art Association and many more. Information will also be provided by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and other groups.
Sausage wraps will be available from Steves’ Market and Deli along with soda/water, chips, and homemade root beer.
The event will be held from 10 AM to 3 PM.
